The Alui system was located in the Alui sector,[1] in the Trailing Sectors portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It was situated on the hyperlane known as the Duros Space Run,[3] which linked it to the Enarc system[2] as well as the Verdanth system of the Outer Rim Territories,[5] and it also shared its name with the Alui Corridor hyperspace route.[6] Shortly before the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, the Alui system was the site of a civilian-operated Class II shipyard whose output was limited to Imperial-class Star Destroyers of the Galactic Empire.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Alui system was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-17.[2]
