The Alui Corridor shared its name with the Alui system (depicted on map) of the Mid Rim.

The Alui Corridor was a hyperlane that served as a major tourist route.[1] It shared its name with the Alui system, a part of the Mid Rim's Alui sector[2] that was situated on the hyperspace route known as the Duros Space Run.[3]

At some point between approximately 1 ABY and 2 ABY,[4] Doctor Callow Batta, a former professor of governmental and political history at the University of Sanbra who had turned to piracy and smuggling after he had been fired by Galactic Empire authorities, carried out multiple raids on starships traveling along the Alui Corridor. Eventually, Rebel Alliance General Airen Cracken submitted a Task Force on Alliance Security SecuriDex datafile on Batta, which noted him as posing a low-level threat to Alliance operatives traveling on the Alui Corridor.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Alui Corridor was mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]
