Alliance gunners were weapons operators of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Serving in the Alliance Military, gunners operated weapons emplacements, and succumbed to large numbers of fatalities. As a result, gunners turned to using remotes such as the Atgar Artillery Remote to operate emplacements behind cover.[1] Several Alliance gunners participated in the Battle of Hoth against the Galactic Empire, with at least one operating a 1.4 FD P-Tower.[2]
