Alderaanian pine boar

An Alderaanian pine boar was a creature that sweated profusely and partially shared its name with Alderaan—a Core Worlds^[1] planet.^[2] In 382 BBY,^[3] while training on the Outer Rim planet Dalna, the Pantoran Jedi Padawan Kevmo Zink and his Jedi Master—the Soikan Zallah Macri—stripped down to their undershirts and trousers due to the heat from Dalna's two suns. After they had finished, Zink mentally noted that unlike Macri who did not look flushed at all, he was sweating like an Alderaanian pine boar.^[1]

An Alderaanian pine boar was mentioned in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Deceit, written by Justina Ireland and Tessa Gratton as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[1] Phase II.^[4]
