AccuTronics, also simply Accutronics, was a company that produced the Advanced Repair Unit, an armor self-repair system attachment available during the Galactic Civil War.[1] The company also manufactured TDA-series droid assistants, which included modified versions acting as command bridge droids and 4D-M1N aboard the Colossus refueling station[2] in 34 ABY.[3]
Behind the scenes
AccuTronics was mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 2016 Star Wars Roleplaying supplement Special Modifications, which was published by Fantasy Flight Games.[1] The 2024 reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy established "Accutronics" as an alternate spelling.[2] The company originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in The Rebel Alliance Sourcebook, a 1990 roleplaying supplement written by Paul Murphy for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4]
