Aaila was a human female who lived in the settlement Haven on the astronomical object Cethis with her father, Mikal, during the High Republic Era. When the residents of Haven were evacuated by the Republic Defense Coalition after the blight affliction threatened the settlement, Aaila and Mikal escaped, but were forced to leave many of their neighbors behind. While waiting to board Republic transports at a makeshift refugee camp, Aaila argued with her father, not wishing to leave without those they had left. Jedi Master Mirro Lox and his Padawan, Amadeo Azzazzo, overheard Aaila's distress and approached, learning of the situation. The two Jedi headed for Aaila and Mikal's former home and rescued their friends and neighbors.[2]
