The 9th Engineering Battalion was a battalion of engineers within the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance. Later the 9th Engineering Battalion was part of the Galactic Empire. Lira Hardin was a member of the battalion before she left after she witnessed the Massacre at Rampa I.[1]
