The 9th Engineering Battalion was an engineering battalion within the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance. Later the 9th Engineering Battalion was part of the Galactic Empire. After serving as a Judicial, Lira Hardin was a member of the battalion during the war and into the Imperial Era but left after she witnessed the massacre at Rampa I.[1]
