The SkillStarter Handheld was a handheld computer released in 2001. This device is apart of the XL Series of V.Tech products.

Features

Some features include an internal clock that keeps track of time, and can sync between the device and your PC via a vPort which uses Infrared to transmit data. The device can also print things off of it with the VT-41 printer. Each user has there own account they can use on the device.

  • The packaging recommends you use Duracell branded batteries
    • This does not mean the device will only work with Duracell batteries
  • The device uses 3 AAA batteries for power, but can also use a DC adapter
    • Power adapter specs; 9V 300mA, positive polarity in the center
  • Internal clock battery is a CR2032 button cell battery
  • The age range is 5+ years
