Shrek: Dragon's Tale was a V.Smile game released in 2005.

Trivia

Stolen Music Tracks

  • This game stole three songs from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.[1]
    • The songs stolen are Inside a House, Lost Woods, and Kokiri Forest (can confirm, it has parts of all three songs in the potion minigame, the haunted forest level, and the "Pinocchio's Mission" minigame)
    • Another song in one of the levels of the main game uses music from The Morning Grow which was from the PC-88 game known as Ys.[2]
    • Ending music used is the carnival music from Darkseed 2.
    • The cutscenes while not entirely stolen are extremely similar to the water theme from Super Mario Bros. on the NES
    • Battle 1 from SaGa Frontier in the “Catch that cat” level
    • Fairy Fountain from Link to the Past is unused in the files
    • Igor Khoroshev (Boston Rain) a sample file made for the Cakewalk MIDI authoring software is used for the logo screen
  • When the console is turned off, Shrek says "Bye bye, See you later!" This is a quote from the first Shrek movie.
  • Some of the non stolen tracks are from the Shrek 2 score
