- "Big Al, one Zero-G Special coming up."
"Nice throw, Aunt Z." - ―Z'Vk'Thkrkza and Al, as the latter is given a Zero-G Special
Zero-G Special[2] was a beverage potable by humans. While fleeing from the First Order[1] in 34 ABY,[3] the supertanker fuel depot Colossus worked to repair damage it had sustained leaving[1] the planet[4] Castilon, including restoring its artificial gravity. During this time, Z'Vk'Thkrkza "Aunt Z"—the proprietor of Aunt Z's Tavern—served a Zero-G Special to the Colossus resident Al. As[1] she[4] gave it to Al, the patron complimented her throwing skills. However, as Al tried to imbibe the drink, the translucent liquid floated out of his cup due to the Colossus's lack of gravity. Al floated through the air after the drink, pleading for it to return to[1] him.[4] When the artificial gravity returned, the drink fell and drained into gaps on the floor, upsetting Al.[1]
Behind the scenes
Zero-G Special appeared in "Into the Unknown,"[1] the first episode of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance, which aired on October 6, 2019.[5] The capitalization and hyphen in the beverage's name were confirmed by the episode's subtitles.[2]
