The Zarkis system was a star system located within the Suolriep sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] During the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic sent a team to the system to buy a weapon of alien origin from a black market dealer. The Alliance team did not do any research into the situation, and were outbid for the item by representatives of Jabba the Hutt.[3]
