- "What in Zariin's name are you doing out there?"
- ―Haleena
Zariin was a name verbally invoked by residents of the Twi'lek colony planet Aaloth during the High Republic Era. Inun, the son of Keeper of Aaloth Yudiah Dee, used the phrase "Thank Zariin" when contacting his[1] older[2] sister Haleena after their sister Lourna Dee was injured while blurrg riding. Haleena, in response, used the phrase "Zariin's name" while asking what the two were doing out on the plains.[1]
Behind the scenes
Zariin was first mentioned in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott for the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project and performed by a full cast.[1]
