The Zaric sector lay in the Slice portion of[2] the Inner Rim and contained the Korev system.[1] The latter was the site of the astronomical object Korev VII.[4]

During the Galactic Civil War, Zaric Command of the Rebel Alliance operated within the Zaric sector.[5] At some point between 0 ABY and 4 ABY,[6] Moff Linis of the Galactic Empire issued from Korev VII a bounty on the Wookiee Cherioer.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Zaric sector was introduced in the 1994 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement Galaxy Guide 10: Bounty Hunters, which was written by Rick D. Stuart for West End Games.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the sector's Korev system in grid square N-9.[3]
