Zaret

Zaret was a human male who served as a spy for the Nihil pirates on the planet Banchii. Undercover as a farmer, Zaret aided the settler Kooba in bringing a container of Drengir seeds to Banchii, which resulted in Kooba's death and an attack on the local Jedi temple. The Jedi stationed at the temple deduced after the attack that Kooba had had help, but were unaware of Zaret's true allegiance. After realizing the Jedi were investigating the matter, Zaret contacted the other Nihil and suggested they needed to escalate their efforts on Banchii.^[1] During the Nihil attack on Banchii, Zaret posed as a prisoner to dissuade the Jedi Padawan Keerin Fionn from forcing the Nihil to surrender. After disengaging his lightsaber and releasing his Nihil captive, Keerin was betrayed by Zaret and shot point blank in the chest, killing him instantly.^[3]
