The Z-Winged Fighter 4000 was a type of starfighter thought of by the Jedi apprentice Christina Starspeeder[1] at one point around 180 BBY.[2] While Starspeeder was investigating a crashed cargo starship on[1] the Outer Rim Territories planet[3] Hoth for any supplies worth scavenging, she found the make of the vessel to be unfamiliar to her. She then wished that Victor, her younger brother who was knowledgeable about starships, were there with her, imagining him nonchalantly telling her that the crashed ship was a third-generation Z-Winged Fighter 4000.[1]

The Z-Winged Fighter 4000 was mentioned in Revenge of the Sis, the 2019 seventh entry in the Star Wars: Jedi Academy non-canon young-reader book series. The book was written by Jarrett J. Krosoczka and Amy Ignatow.[1]
