Yartigan well water was a type of beverage[3] that originated in[2] the Yartiga system of the Mid Rim's Spirva sector.[1] It was available at the Farrimmer Cafe eatery aboard the Mynock 7 Space Station[3] of the Outer Rim Territories' Mayagil sector[4] at some point during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance.[3]
Behind the scenes
Yartigan well water was mentioned in "The Farrimmer Cafe," a roleplaying source article authored by Jean Rabe and J. Allan Fawcett for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and published in the November 1996 eleventh issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal magazine.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Yartigan well water in relation to the Yartiga system.
