The Yankirk system was located within the Ado sector,[1] a part of the Western Reaches portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It shared its name with the Yankirk Route hyperlane.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Yankirk system was established in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed the system in grid square L-17.[2]
