Yalln was a terrestrial industrial world[3] situated in the Yalln system, a part of the Mortex sector[1] in the Trans-Hydian portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It featured corporate complexes, outside of which stretched vast unsettled territories.[3]
The Human Clenna grew up on Yalln, spending a lot of time during his youth exploring the wilderness outside the corporate complexes with his trusty tal. At some point, Clenna traveled offworld and served in the Imperial Army of the Galactic Empire, but he eventually returned to Yalln. He grew both restless and tired of his life there, however, and ultimately joined the offworld Galactic Outdoor Survival School as a staff member[3] at some point by 2 ABY.[4]
Behind the scenes
Yalln was mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas subsequently placed the Yalln system, and therefore the world itself, in grid square R-5.[2]
