Yabassi is a fictional detective in the holodrama Glarnok & Yabassi that was partners with Glarnok. The series released at least forty five episodes[1] by 3 ABY.[2]
Before the forty third episode Yabassi and Glarnok interviewed the droidsmith about droids robbing vaults. Doubting the droidsmith's story about where they got an expensive looking, Glarnok informed the droidsmith that they were going to take him to the station just as an assassin droid activates and Yabassi warns Glarnok about it.
In the following episode, Glarnok is being healed with bacta when Yabassi visits them, saying that they needed help on the case. Yabassi informed Glarnok that they traced the blaster to a shop in Level 1420 but that there was no record of that shop existing. After looking up the revisions Yabassi found that the trail led to Mayor Frudeki. Both detectives confront Frudeki in the next episode to arrest him. While trying to escape Frudeki proclaims his allegiance to the Alliance to Restore the Republic to which Glarnok calls him a traitor.[1]

Yabassi's voice first appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1]
