"Iron Shackle" Y'ia was a pilot and slaver who lived during the Galactic Civil War. Y'ia was a captain of the Zel'iphian Slave Traders Guild. Following the Battle of Yavin, Captain "Iron Shackle" Y'ia frequently piloted a G1-M4-C Dunelizard fighter in the Dantooine system.[1]

Y'ia appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] Captain "Iron Shackle" Y'ia was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Jump to Lightspeed on October 27, 2004. Captain Y'ia was a starfighter boss that had a low probability to spawn among a group of Zel'iphian starfighters in the Dantooine system.[1]
