Xuvvas were hairless, carnivorous flying creatures that were distant cousins to the mynocks. Like mynocks, xuvvas also leeched electrical energy from power sources, but they also possessed fangs, swollen stomachs, and horn-like antenna with sensitive electroreceptors for finding prey. A single xuvva was said to be deadly enough to kill a trained hunter, while a flock was said to be able to devour prey the size of a Hutt in minutes.[1]
Xuvvas could be found on Dantooine,[2] Dromund Kaas,[3] and Nal Hutta.[1] The xuvva Fuzzy accompanied the zeldrate Ol' Cronchy and Skar'kla Yug by a lake in the vicinity of Dantooine's Jedi Enclave. The three were Yarvok's beloved pets, and they were fed by the Alliance Commander's crew as the Eternal Alliance made its way into the Enclave.[2]
