A xenopathologist was a type of doctor. Archiban Kimble studied xenopathology at the planet of Coruscant's University during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, though he worked as a combat surgeon after gaining his degree.[1]

The occupation of xenopathologist was first mentioned in the entry for Archiban Kimble in the 2012 Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia, a reference guide for BioWare's 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[1] The word "xenopathologist" is a combination of the prefix "xeno," meaning alien[2] and "pathologist," someone who studies diseases.[3]
