The Xelric Draw was a shallow, wide-mouthed canyon that split the Mospic High Range of mountains at the north-western edge of the Northern Dune Sea, a part of the small inhabitable region in the northern hemisphere of the desert planet Tatooine. The canyon was an ancient trading route that linked the northern settlements with those further south. The spaceport city of Mos Espa was located within the Xelric Draw, and as all traders had to pass through the routes in the canyon, the marketplace of Mos Espa developed quickly and it became one of the planet's largest spaceports.[1]
