Xander[2] was a human[1] stormtrooper who served in the 501st Legion,[2] the personal legion of the Sith Lord Darth Vader.[3] The trooper was part of a fireteam with fellow stormtroopers Ella, Riccarn, Tig and Deena Lorn. The members of the fireteam were assigned with a squad aboard[2] the Executor-class Star Dreadnought[4] Executor after making it through a number of missions together.[2]
Aboard the Super Star Destroyer, Xander distilled illegal alcohol from the reactors coolant system. Some nights, the stormtrooper and their squadmates, excluding trooper FS-451, sat in a corner in the destroyer's mess hall, notably sipping the alcohol and questioning why FS-451 was still only a stormtrooper. When the Executor traveled to the tibanna mining colony Cloud City[2] in 3 ABY,[5] Xander, Ella and Riccarn remained aboard the vessel while Lorn, Tig and FS-451 were sent down to the city with Vader.[2]
Behind the scenes
Xander was mentioned in the short story "The Witness," which was written by Adam Christopher and released as part of the 2020 short story collection From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.[2]
