Xaban was a female Twi'lek soldier who served in Havoc Squad, an elite unit in the Republic Special Forces Division of the Republic Army.[1] Around 3630 BBY,[2] the unit's leader, Major Aric Jorgan, took the squad on an unsanctioned mission to the planet Zakuul, where they waged a guerrilla war against the Eternal Empire that had conquered the galaxy.[1]

Xaban was added to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic's Digital Expansion Knights of the Fallen Empire as part of Chapter XI: Disavowed,[1] which was released on March 10, 2016.[3] Xaban was originally named Xabar, but was changed before the chapter's final release.
