Wyan was a major in the Imperial Army shortly after the Declaration of a New Order.
Competent and efficient, he served under Colonel Mosh Barris on the Strikefast. During this mission in which Mitth'raw'nuruodo first made contact with the Galactic Empire. Barris's right-hand man, he put his experience with hostile natives into securing the Empire's base camp from a mysterious series of attacks, which turned out to be engineered by Mitth'raw'nuruodo.
