"When now we visit the Memorial to the Missing of Ghorman, the Graveyard at Alderaan, the Wroshyr Mural on Kashyyyk, or the Hall of the Unknown on Chandrila, among others, we must reflect upon the fact that so vast was the system of Imperial genocide that we may never know anything about the majority of those we lost except for the fact that they died."
―Beaumont Kin, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire[1]

The Wroshyr Mural was a memorial on the planet Kashyyyk to those that the Galactic Empire had killed during its reign. Kashyyyk, homeworld of the Wookiee species[1] and wroshyr trees,[2] had been occupied by the Empire and its population enslaved, leading to the deaths of many.[1] In 35 ABY,[3] the historian Beaumont Kin mentioned the mural alongside similar memorials in[1] his[4] book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, stating that no information remained on many of the victims of the Empire due to how many were killed.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Wroshyr Mural was mentioned in the 2024 reference book Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, which was written by Dr. Chris Kempshall.[1]
