This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

Woopas was a Force-sensitive Gigoran child who was protected by the rebel Princess Crane. He was the sole survivor of a village on the snowy planet of Joetz that was attacked and massacred by Imperial snowtroopers. Woopas was rescued by Crane and her astromech droid R9-TR2 ("Tor-Tu"). Woopas then accompanied Crane and Tor-Tu as they attacked an Imperial mining transport that was mining the planet coaxium's veins, and its AT-AT walker escorts. During the skirmish, Woopas used his Force powers to reconnect Tor-Tu's mech unit's laser cannon, allowing Crane to destroy the mining transport. Later, Woopas accompanied Crane and Tortu aboard their starship after the rebels escaped Joetz. While conversing with Admiral Basil Kiucee about the recent skirmish, Crane noticed Woopas levitating a paper crane and deduced that he was Force-sensitive.[1]
