I speedy'd this, but then I saw Category:Toys. What, are we really listing toys now? I hope not. -- Ozzel 02:17, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Keep
- Kuralyov 02:26, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- It's really difficult to pinpoint all of the exact sources, this knowledge only comes from a culmination of news leaks, some more official than not, and a basic understanding of Hasbro's merchandise structure. Inigo Montoya 08:01, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Merge
- Into a larger article on the FUL multimedia program, like the ones on Clone Wars and SOTE.--Valin Kenobi 05:08, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- I favor a merge, if only to hold on to the images uploaded of the figures. Those can still be used in their respective articles as well. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:10, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Merge to a larger article, and copy to the toy wiki. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Comments
- Toys are as legitimate a thing to show on a Star Wars encyclpedia as comics books or movies. In fact, I wish there were more toy line articles. Kuralyov 02:26, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Once again, I say if someone wants to make a Star Wars merchandise wiki, then go for it. It could be very successful and could certainly rival Wookieepedia in size. But our focus is the Expanded Universe. Unless a piece of merchandise contributes to the EU, we shouldn't list it. -- Ozzel 02:33, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- " But our focus is the Expanded Universe." 1) That is 100% false. Nowhere is there such a claim made. 2) Toys count as part of the EU. 3) We have stuff on games, DVDs, soundtracks, and Legos; how is this any different? Kuralyov 03:27, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- 100% false? No. But perhaps about 3%, I'll give you that. What I meant to say was that our primary focus is the EU (and, of course, the films). We have tens of thousands of articles about characters, ships, planets, species, etc. We even have hundreds/thousands of articles on the publications that feature them. But we don't have articles on vintage figures, card variants, statuettes, plush toys, or even sleeping bags, cereal boxes, or toothbrushes. We aren't RebelScum. That site serves its purpose well, but I don't think that's the same purpose of Wookieepedia. -- Ozzel 04:17, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. For what's it worth, see my related comments at Forum:CT:Action figures and Forum:CT:Action figures - Revised.--Valin Kenobi 05:08, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Information provided should not be redundant and in this case it is not, but rather introducing totally new canon to Star Wars. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:33, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Correct. However, the toys don't introduce squat--as least as far as we can tell at this early stage. The character names, etc. are all from the game and it's too soon to know if the toys themselves will contribute anything new.--Valin Kenobi 16:50, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

- If I may make a comment, why does Toy Wiki only have two Star Wars articles? [See Category:Star Wars] -- Riffsyphon1024 22:22, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know if we should close this vote and start a new one, or just add a new option, or what, but I now think this should be moved to the Merchandise Wiki. -- Ozzel 01:25, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
