Risk: Star Wars Original Trilogy Edition (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

Redemption sought to speedy this, stating "No merchandise articles. Don't remove the tag again." Since when are merchandise articles verboten? jSarek 01:09, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Keep

  1. Keep. jSarek 01:09, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
  2. Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 02:23, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
  3. A category exists for it (Category:Board games), so why not? --Azizlight 02:26, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
  4. Per Azizlight. - Yoshi626 02:31, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
  5. Per JSarek. - breathesgelatinTalk 15:48, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
  6. Definately keep. But, then we'll need one for both Star Wars Monopolies, Stratego, etc... maybe another SW merchandise wiki would be useful... but keep unless something happens with a new wiki. Jorrel Fraajic 19:02, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
  7. Keep. Why not? It's as much part of the saga as any other piece of merchendise; novels, comics and games included - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 19:05, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
  8. Weak keep. I don't want to have too many merch articles (there's plenty of excellent sites already covering that), but since someone went to the trouble of writing this up we might as well leave it be.--Valin Kenobi 09:28, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
  9. What kind of maniac would want to delete this? KEJ 15:13, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
  10. Weak keep, since we do have a few similar articles; however, we do need to decide upon a guideline for merchandise articles. -- Ozzel 02:33, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
  11. Weak keep per Ozzel. We really should discuss this in the next mofference.–SentryTalk 03:39, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

  13. What's with all this Weak Keep stuff, you either keep it or get rid of it. If there was a Weak Keep Column then you can say that.fire75boy 10:10, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

As I've said before, there could be an entire wiki just for Star Wars merchandise. I think we need to stay limited to media pertaining to the Expanded Universe. -- Ozzel 01:22, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Comments

  • Okay, we definitely need some kind of guideline on this. We have articles for individual Star Wars Customizable Card Game expansions, but not for individual action figures, for instance. Where does this article fall? jSarek 01:45, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Hmm, I didn't know we had a category when I voted. But as for the CCG, those cards were EU. They are frequently cited as sources. Does the same go for any of these board games? -- Ozzel 06:24, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
      • Star Wars: The Interactive Video Board Game was referenced in The Dark Forces Saga, so other games have probably been referenced. With Dan and Abel around, I expect most of them to be referenced eventually. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 06:30, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
        • I can see how something like that could be important. But does this version of Risk actually have any exclusive Expanded Universe elements? I agree with jSarek that we definitely need a guideline. -- Ozzel 06:36, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
          • Ditto Ozzel. Perhaps this can be brought up in another Mofference? —Xwing328(Talk) 23:09, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
            • Good call. I'll add it to the agenda. In the mean time, I'll change my vote on the condition that we make a specific guideline regarding merchandise articles. -- Ozzel 02:33, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
