Jedi Princess

I'm putting this one up here, because the union of these two words doesn't seem to be something specific to the star wars universe. In the same way a regular encyclopaedia might have entries for "honest" and "plumber", but it's very unlikely that they would have an article on "honest plumber". Jedi Princess seems like nothing more than a Jedi who so happens to be a princess.Serendipitousus 06:24, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

  3. This was the canon title for Kendalina. The inclusion of Leia may be up for debate though, since I'd say she was mostly just a Jedi who was also a Princess.--Valin Kenobi 07:16, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
    • The exact line (from Han in DE is) "They told me marriage to a Jedi Princess wasn't going to be easy..." Kuralyov 20:59, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

  6. It's canonriffic. Havac 06:44, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
  7. Weak keep. I suspect Serindipitousness is correct, but the term is used too uniformly in the Glove of Darth Vader books to be ignored without some stronger verification of this fact. jSarek 08:15, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
  8. Weak Keep Although it's not too terribly full of information there's really nothing non-cannonical about it. I'll join the crowd.—Unsigned comment by Wildyoda (talk • contribs)

Oook. Looks like I'm the only one on this one. That's fine, i'm not trying to hate on anyone. Just a little concerned. I am hoping that someone will assuage my fears that Jedi Princess is not, in fact, a title attributed to jedi, like jedi historian or jedi bodyguard. Those are legitimately distinct things, and have special qualities attributed to them, because they are something more that the union of two distinct concepts. I guess I want to make sure that "Jedi Princess" is like "Jedi Knight", and not like "Old Freighter". "Old Freighter" shouldn't get an entry, because it is nothing more than a generic freighter, which happens to be old. Anyone got something like this to assuage me? I don't have DE to read right now, so I can't check it out and verify.Serendipitousus 23:41, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

  • The catch is that Kendalina is quite definitely and explicitly referred to as "Jedi Princess" (and only as Jedi Princess) throughout all her mentions. QuentinGeorge 23:24, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
