HK-51

Only appears in cut content. Cut content is not canon. Therefore, the HK-51s, Kaah Ohtok, the planet M4-78 etc. never existed. - Sikon [Talk] 16:36, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • I think it has a place here, but you're right, it isn't technically canon, so I vote for a new {{cut}} template to be placed here and on similar pages, like so: MarcK 21:48, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)

This article covers a subject that was cut from a video game and appears in no other source. Video game cut content is not canon, and thus should not be taken as such. You have been warned.

  • Non-canon status shouldn't bar material from being included, as long as it's clearly marked. We've got articles on the fanfilm TROOPS, a subsection in Palpatine dealing with fanon first names, articles on characters who only appear in semi-canon Star Wars Tales issues, etc.... Anyway, I vote Keep and support the idea of MarcK's warning template. — Silly Dan 22:11, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
    • I also support MarcK's template, though I think it should be made more generic as far as sources go; there's plenty of interesting cut material from sources other than video games (Jorallen, Artel Darc, and the game of Lightsider come to mind) that would probably be worth including in articles here. jSarek 02:32, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
    • Keep, with template. But this is a special place as HK-51 does exist in the finished game - you first encounter one on Peragus II. Therefore, I don't think this one even needs the template, to be honest. QuentinGeorge 06:17, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

      • The droid you encounter on Peragus is an HK-50, not HK-51. HK-50s are plentiful throughout the game, but HK-51s are only encountered in the cut droid factory. - Sikon [Talk] 06:24, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
