Merge with Dark Side Cave

  1. Merge. I don't think this entity is a specific, sapient spirit, but rather a manifestation of the Dark Side itself specific to the location. jSarek 21:22, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Comments

  • Unless the validity of provided source can be verified, I think this should go. It seems that current Canon treats occurences like this as Force Illusions or visions. DarthMRN 16:59, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Leland sez.... Toys are C-Canon. C-Canon cannot overrule C-Canon. Rodtheanimegod4ever 01:43, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
      • The toys may be, but what about the source for that article? Did it come from the toymakers website? Was it written on the package? I think neither of those are C-canon. But the toy itself might be. DarthMRN 04:54, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
        • Neither. It's from those little, totally-canonical gems, the Force Files. Remember them? They gave us R5-D8 and crap like that. Rodtheanimegod4ever 22:56, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
          • Having that Force File handy would be nice. Even if the thing turns out to be canon, I seriously doubt it's validity as a character. DarthMRN 08:12, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
          • [1] I still don't totally buy it as canon, since it goes against what else we know about The Cave.--Valin Kenobi 08:19, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
          • [2] would be a better link. The other pages reinforce the idea that this is a singular individual. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 22:08, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
            • It's vague whether it's a lifeforce or The Force itself. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:07, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
              • Agreed. If we take it literally, "this spirit is the embodiment of the dark side of the Force" indicates that it's not - it's the dark side itself, given form. This is consistent with other sources, which always indicate that the cave itself possessed dark properties, but never mention actual discrete spirits existing there. jSarek 04:41, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
