I nominated this article after quite a bit of discussion on the talk page. I believe that from the context of the comic, the image that is the whole basis for this article is not a flaskback, but rather a dream. As such there is no justification for giving it an article. It is a cool picture, granted, but the appropriate place for it is on Hoth (Jedi Lord)Hoth's page. --Eyrezer 00:34, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

  • I haven't read the comic, but there doesn't seem to be enough information to merit an article. Mentioning it on Hoth's page, and possible the New Sith Wars page, would be enough. - Angel BlueHolocron-NEGWT(Holonet) 00:38, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Seems like a dream in the context of the story. You'd think that Hoth would look a bit happier if he was recounting his glory days when his hair was gold and blew in the wind as he slaughtered the Sith singlehandedly. Cull Tremayne 07:35, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
    • I wish I had that comic on me. What does Hoth say after that panel? The conversation goes like this paraphrasing.
Hoth:Why did you become a Jedi Pernicar?
Pernicar: {{Life story about how all he wanted to be was a scribe like his father, but his family couldn't support itself having all their children be scribes, so Pernicar was sent away. He grew to resent his father and didn't come to terms with the fact that his father had sent him away to save him until his dad passed away}} And you my Lord?
Hoth: I dreamt...(It's on the panel)
So Hoth became a Jedi because he wanted to be that perfect Jedi, the one he dreamt about as a child (evidenced by the picture). Then Pernicar also goes out of his way to reassure Hoth that he will fight like a Jedi when the time comes. If that picture wasn't a dream or a youthful wish, but is in fact something that definitively happened when he was younger, Pernicar's words seem a bit baseless, especially if Hoth is recalling how he fought with such fervor in an earlier battle. • Personally, I think it wasn't a dream. (Or it was but it really happened in the past). Brain40 11:45, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
  • It is a dream--per discussion above and on the article's talk page. And even if really was a flashback, what's the point of an article for a battle about which NOTHING is known?? It's just silly and just clutters the Wooki.--Valin Kenobi 19:34, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
