Remove Adminship
- He doesn't use his admin powers very much. AND HE'S A BOT! Jediknight19bby (Jedi High Council Chambers!) 18:32, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I do use R2's admin powers when mass-deleting articles. - Sikon 19:05, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

- I'm leery of the whole idea of giving admin powers to a python script anyway, no matter who's using it. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:23, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- Why give admin powers to a non-sentient piece of programming? Unit 8311 08:44, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Only because the bot doesn't need to be an admin to perform admin actions. There's a section of Pywikipedia bot code in userconfig.py where Sikon can add his sysop account to perform admin actions. Of course, those edits would then show up under Sikon's history instead of R2's. —Xwing328(Talk) 18:21, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Per X-wing328. Thanks for pointing that out.--Darth Oblivion 04:59, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

- It's patent nonsense to talk about stripping a user of their sysop status and then provide them with an avenue to continue to utilize that particular authority. --School of Thrawn 101 16:01, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

dmirableAckbar (It's A Trap!) 19:57, 13 August 2007 (UTC) - 1) No entity, organic or mechanical, should be given admin status without either a successful RfA or orders from on high at Wikia. 2) Per School of Thrawn. 3) Per Xwing328. jSarek 21:15, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- Was never RFA'd, so that's why I want this removed. I'd rather have Sikon keep his admin powers than his bot, although I haven't made a final decision on the matter. Atarumaster88

- Per no RfA. It was an abuse of Bureaucrat powers to give R2 sysop rights. And how often is there a "mass-deletion" of pages anyway? At least to the point of even thinking of involving a bot? —Unsigned comment by Wildyoda (talk • contribs)

- Per Ataru and Jsarek's first comment. I would most definitely prefer the powers stay with the user who actually went through the RFA, rather than a bot. Hobbes15(Tiger Headquarters) 14:17, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Keep Adminship
