  7. This is one of my favorite quotes! I saw it first when I recorded a 3 minute clip, like a teaser trailer, of that whole scene. It went from the Jedi walking in the door to Sidious force-grabbing his saber. I memorized all the lines. In other words, I love this quote--Shadowphobia 23:50, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Good line and all... but why "in the name of the Senate"? Later Mace says Palpatine "controls the Senate and the Courts." And it's not like the Senate gave Mace a warrant or something. If there were a vote, chances are Palpy would get off scot free at that point. Oh well. Small thing. Enochf 00:31, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I guess Mace figured if he did capture Palpy, he'd just say to the Senate "He's a Sith." and expect them to throw him away too. Only after Palpy showed how good he was (by killing the "three best swordmasters" in the Order in seconds) did Mace figure he's a bit more powerful than he looks. All in all, Mace just acted weird immediately after Anakin said "I think he's a Sith Lord." -- Doran 19:53, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
      • Well traditionally the Jedi answer to the Senate so that's why he invokes it Lalala la 03:33, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
