- Hopefully it's OK for me to chime in here. I feel bad coming and being Captain bring-down again, but I think that more than just the bts of this article needs beefing. The Yuuzhan Vong war section is way too short --- "The Yellow Aces fought with distinction at Borleias" and "Janson and the Yellow Aces helped the New Republic liberate captured troops and also participated in the Battle of Yuuzhan'tar." aren't even close to the level of detail we expect in featured articles. I'd like to see this and the Second Galactic Civil War section beefed up considerably, including important context on the wars that is currently missing. A lot of other sections in the bio are very sparse on detail and could probably use expansion, such as the events from Shadows of the Empire, the Wraith Squadron books, and Starfighters of Adumar. There's also quite a bit of missing context on things and some repeat linking. I feel bad about barging in here and being being Captain Buzzkill, but I just feel like this article could be a lot better. I'm willing to help make it so, if need be. - Ataru's done a lot of work on expanding the article over the last month. There's still more cleanup to be done (the article alternates between "Wes" and "Janson" a lot), but I give my thumbs up to the requested expansion. Sorry to be such a general curmudgeon. - Glad to see you approve of the requested expansion. I'll definitely get the "Wes" and "Janson" thing cleared up ASAP, that's a holdover. I am somewhat perplexed by your request on additional expansion on Starfighters, the Wraith books, and Shadows of the Empire. I looked at Shadows and the Wraith books, but while Janson is mentioned a lot in the Wraith books, he doesn't actually do a lot compared to some of other lead guys in those books (Obviously not much in Shadows, which is a fleeting mention) and Tainer, Loran, Phanan, and Antilles in the Wraith books. I'm loathe to add fifteen more mentions of "Janson conversed with Antilles at a briefing, teasing his fellow officer about whatever" and that's basically what more expansion from the Wraith books would entail. I will touch up a few more things from the Wraith books and SoA, but I'd like to see either a more official Inquisitorius line requesting expansion from those sources or a more specific listing of what you're looking for before I totally rework those sections based on a "could probably use expansion." ;) Thanks. - No, you're right. I was still halfway through the Wraith books when I wrote that, but after finishing them, I'm kind of surprised by his relatively small role, too. I haven't read Adumar either, so ignore that request --- it was based on an assumption that will probably turn out to be as wrong as the Wraith one. No more beef from me, I swear! - A minor thing here, from the "Second Galactic Civil War" section: Janson survived the battle and the Jedi ultimately slew Caedus not long afterward to end the war. This is all referenced to Fury, but if memory serves me correctly, the stuff about the Jedi slaying Caedus and ending the war is from Invincible, not Fury. --Jinzler 17:31, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
