Meeting Thirteen will mark the second of the agreed-upon regular monthly meetings of the Inquisitorius, yet somehow is a month late. I know we're all busy, so I won't press the issue, but come on, people!

Morale is at an all-time low. Forced chumminess, a la company Christmas parties, may remedy the situation somewhat. Slowly diminishing FAN rate aside, Inqing by all members should probably be stepped up.

Meeting Thirteen will take place on Saturday/Sunday, December 15/16. 7PM Eastern in North America. If you are in Perth, please refrain from attending.

Agenda

Expand as needed.

  • Review Thyne—"polish a turd," indeed.
  • Review Jar Jar Binks—this article generally needs a good cleanup. The "Clone Wars" and "Galactic Empire" sections are very disjointed. The BTS needs a good amount of work.
  • Review Anzat—this FA is about to go on the Main Page, but still lacks content as indicated by the "content approaching" banner. The article is not completely sourced, and needs an image cleanup. The "History" section is very disjointed, and contains information that is better suited for the Volfe Karkko article. Additionally, the BTS section is very poor.
  • Review Tunroth—this article has a very short introduction, and contains far too many images. The infobox is not sourced, and the text itself is unsourced in several places. The article mistakenly refers to Tunroth as "Tunroths"; "Tunroths" is used only once in a single source.
  • Review Drovian—this article has an unsourced infobox, contains too many images, and has a very poor BTS section.
  • Review Great Jedi Purge—given the sheer amount of sources, this is far too short. Also, unsourced infobox.
  • Review 501st Legion—this needs a serious update with Legacy content. Oh, and the infobox isn't sourced.
  • Review Joram Kithe—almost completely unsourced.
    • It's entirely sourced, just by section. It's an old-school FA, yo. And it's completely sourced now, anyway. Havac 19:23, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Rants/complaints/demands from absentees

  1. From Greyman—my thoughts/votes on issues in case I can't be there:
    • Thyne – I'm kinda confused on this nom, since some say that he isn't in Galaxies, while others say he is. I've never played the game, so I depend on others for that type of information. If Zekka is indeed in Galaxies, and he has more than a background shot, then (like I've told the nominator) his Galaxy info needs to be included. If it turns out that he's not in the game, then the article is complete as far as I can see.
    • Jar Jar – Keep. The Tales info makes it seem kinda disjointed, but I don't feel that it takes away from the article at all. The only comment I have on the BtS is that the fan reaction to Jar Jar could be expanded quite a bit, but's that's more of a comment as opposed to an "objection" of any kind.
    • Anzat – Probation. The {{Update}} tag does need to be dealt with, and the article could do with a good copy-edit, IMO. As far as the images are concerned, I cleaned them up. Likewise, I cleaned up and sourced the infobox, along with several paragraphs within the main body; I expanded the BtS a bit, but I'm certain it could be quite longer. That being said, there are still whole paragraphs that I could not track down (though, I am pressed for time at the moment), and of course it like I said before, it needs a copy-edit.
    • Tunroth – Keep. I told Ey that this was on the chopping block, and he did some work on it yesterday, and it looks better, IMO.
    • Drovian – Keep. Per the same reasoning I gave for Tunroth.
    • Great Jedi Purge – Eh, I'm not too sure about this one...
    • 501st – I left a note on Chack's talk page regarding the specific reasons for why it is up for review. Hopefully, he can update it with the Legacy info, or someone who is familiar with it can do it. Depending on the work done on it by that time, Keep it or put it on Probation.
    • Joram – Keep.
    • Ulic Qel-Droma – Remove FA-status, per my reasoning above.

  2. This is a public service announcement…without guitars!:
    • Zekka Thyne: Kinda depends on whether we consider the Galaxies Thyne to be the same person or not. If it is, then the info needs to be added, otherwise I will strike my opposition.
    • Jar Jar Binks: Probation since Jaymach pointed out it's missing info from some of the Episode I Adventures.
    • Anzat: Probation until sourced correctly.
    • Tunroth: Probation until sourced correctly.
    • Drovian: Keep per Greyman.
    • Great Jedi Purge: Not familiar enough with the sources to comment. Would like to see the infobox sourced, but that alone isn't enough to vote against it.
    • 501st Legion: If there's more in Legacy, then probation I guess. But I can't really remember there being much more.
    • Joram Kithe: Keep.

  3. Here are my last-minute thoughts:
    • Give Thyne time; I think we should create a new article for the Bothan Thyne, following the Chertyl Ruluwoor (Human) precedent. Someone harass Colinmcev to finish the objections so he can be queued.
    • Jar Jar – Probation.
    • Anzat & Tunroth – Probation until sourced fully.
    • Drovian – Keep, and I think the BtS isn't all that bad; at least it covers appearances.
    • Great Jedi Purge – Remove; I think this is a rather half-assed article at best.
    • 501st Legion – Probation pending Legacy info, if anyone knows off the top of their head for sure that there is. Otherwise, keep. Kill the Wikipedia link. God, I hate Wikipedia links. Wikipedia sucks balls when it comes to Star Wars.
    • Joram Kithe – The P&T seems lazily sourced. Harass whoever sourced it and keep.
    • Ulic Qel-Droma must die that he may live again.

  4. Gonk!
    • Thyne: Per Grae 100%-- they should be split. I fully support as much segregation of Galaxies content as we can get away with within our own policies.
    • Jar Jar: I see some prose that can most appropriately be described as "clumsy."
    • Anzat & Tunroth: Aw man, I like these articles. Reluctant probation until sourced.
    • Drovian: Keep. Looks good to me.
    • Great Jedi Purge: I call this just barely good enough for FA, but some of the infobox content does need ref tags. So, probation.
    • Joram Kithe: Keep; I perceive no major sourcing issues. I am reminded of the WEG template I came up with years ago for a "Brash Accountant."
    • Ulic Qel-Droma: Remove so Greyman can do that voodoo that he do so well. Gonk (Gonk!) 23:43, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
