  • (Review note) — remember that listed sources are automatically mentions by default, so there's no need to include {{Mo}} next to Forged in Battle.
    • Ok.
  • If there are pieces of media with more than one to two authors, we typically forego adding them all since there's too many. Not sure if you've been made aware of this in the past.
    • Not sure which author it is. Do I just put the first name under "writing and development"?
      • Nah, you can just remove them and say it was published by FFG.
        • Done
  • I think you can create an article for Ord Cestus's star system, if a Vindicator was assigned to patrol it, it confirms the existence of a corresponding star system.
    • Done.
      • Had it moved to Ord Cestus system, but thanks.
  • Could get an image or two? One preferably for the BTS.
    • This is interesting. I don't think we actually know that the ship in the Legends image is actually a vindicator. Perhaps we just assumed that because other sources say that the vindicator is the immobiliser without gravity projectors. I don't have a copy of the game though.
    • Also I have been instructed previously to not include an image for BTS if it is only 1 paragraph, I think. Loqiical (talk) 00:10, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
      • It depends on how big the paragraph is.
  • Infobox-exclusive info. Erebus Chronus (Talk) 22:18, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Not sure which info this is. Loqiical (talk) 23:39, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
      • That there is in fact a known crew utilized for these ships. Erebus Chronus (Talk) 19:57, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
        • We don't know crew size or named crew members so I haven't included it in the infobox. Is that what you mean? Loqiical (talk) 23:29, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

Macaroni
  • Usually information like release year and publisher can be sourced to the source itself. Is that not the case for either Starships of the Galaxy or Elite Squadron? JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 05:33, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
    • Done. In the battlefront there's a line saying 1999-2009 or something so maybe that is usable? I'll have to get back on whether the vindicator is named in the game files, too. Loqiical (talk) 23:39, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
      • Is this done, then? JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 18:28, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
        • It's not named, so we could use the duck test. What's your opinion? Loqiical (talk) 00:12, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
          • I'm not particularly familiar with the source, so if you think the duck test applies I trust your judgment. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 00:58, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
            • Right now I'll just say that it is a vindicator. There are discrepancies since the game is old and not very detailed but the design appears similar enough. Loqiical (talk) 02:38, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
Uber
  • Can we get some illustration in the body?
    • Anything in particular?
      • Ord Cestus, for one. Though if you're going to add it, ask Imp to get you a better quality image. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 07:07, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
        • Alright Loqiical (talk) 12:04, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
  • Need full dates for the books since they came out the same year. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 16:31, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
    • FFG articles are available but I'm not sure if they actually reflect the release day Loqiical (talk) 03:02, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
      • They should be fine. The Forged in Battle one even provides a concrete date. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 07:07, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
        • It says Thursday so I'm not too sure when that is Loqiical (talk) 00:19, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
          • August 18, 2016 was a Thursday. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 13:38, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
            • Done Loqiical (talk) 08:33, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
              • Amended the edits since there's no reason to doubt the dates. I've never seen the dates from the publisher being proven wrong. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 09:10, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
                • How are they proven right? Loqiical (talk) 09:43, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
                  • They come from the publisher directly. If we don't trust this, then no dates from any publisher can be trusted, throwing every date documented here into question. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 14:43, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
                    • The Lead by Example article says "available now", but this would also be true if the book had already been published a few days ago, for example. Loqiical (talk) 00:42, 28 January 2023 (UTC)

Comments

  • Is the infobox (at least one flight) meant to be small text or not? Loqiical (talk) 00:27, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
  • I thought we don't link anything in |model=. Loqiical (talk) 12:05, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
