Unidentified dinghy driver
- Nominated by: @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 13:46, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- Nomination comments: Of all characters, why just it? Well, first and foremost is the fact it is the first Teek to have been pictured in canon! If not for it, all we'd have would be mere descriptions. Second, the wee ferryman is unlikely to undergo major revisions in the future. Considering its relatively minor role and the fact that Skeleton Crew is over, we shouldn't expect it to show up in any source until maybe we get a comic book, which I hope we will. Furthermore, the article presents a wealth of high-quality multimedia elements, like pictures and audio samples. Last but not least, the BTS section is detailed, well-researched, and informative, reaching as far as a Empire, where NBDani spotted it. Finally, let me extend special thanks to ThePedantry, who has also contributed to the article and agreed to my nomination ❤️

Pedantry
It looks like we are actually missing their brief appearance in the 3rd episode. Around 7 minutes in, the driver takes the kids and Jod back to the Cinder after their escape. (I swear I added that appearance but must not have). -ThePedantry (talk) 23:35, 24 February 2025 (UTC)- Updated! @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 21:45, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
"Despite not understanding its tongue", while I understand the meaning of tougue, it would probably be clearer to use "its native tongue" or just "its language" here. -ThePedantry (talk) 23:35, 24 February 2025 (UTC)- Rephrased! Although not exactly as you suggested—I wanted to avoid redundant repetitions—the word "tongue" has been edited out. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 21:45, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
I'd recommend expanding the following sentence with more context from the podcast. "The character might have been voiced by actor Sam Witwer". -ThePedantry (talk) 23:35, 24 February 2025 (UTC)- Expanded. In fact, I've brought back your original sentence. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 21:45, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
Comet
It's not necessarily a contradiction that the Teek has two sets of pronouns, so I don't think it's necessary to note in the BTS. Instead, both sets should be used at least once in the body.- He/him/his occurs twice in the body now. The subsection on pronouns in BTC has been removed. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 17:29, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
David Collins says that Sam Whitwer did voice it around 47:40 in this podcast, so that can be confirmed:Episode 437 - David W. Collins RETURNS with The Sound of Skeleton Crew, Celebration Japan & more on Apple Podcasts (backup link)
- Confirmation info added. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 17:29, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
Movies typically include release years when they're mentioned, so that should be added for The Battle for Endor in the BTSCometSmudge (talk) 03:18, 4 April 2025 (UTC)- Release date added. Thank you for your overall feedback! @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 17:29, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
The infobox and body reference different sources for his gender. One of those should be changed so they both ref the same source, since precedent is that they should match- Fixed. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 11:05, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
David W. Collins should have context, probably that he was the sound designer- Added. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 11:05, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
This article does actually seem to have a little bit of new info that can be added. It mentions the switch between the digital and puppet versions and the movements mimicking the original Teek.- True! Added. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 11:05, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
In case you missed Lew's message on discord, per Wookieepedia:Layout_Guide#External_links, most or all of the external links seem like they should be removedCometSmudge (talk) 01:17, 14 April 2025 (UTC)- All gone. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 11:05, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
The name "Skeleton Crew" to refer to the kids is intro-exclusiveCometSmudge (talk) 20:24, 14 April 2025 (UTC)- Not sure I follow. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 22:51, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
- All information in the introduction has to also be included in the body. In the intro you say "the dinghy driver offered its service to the young members of the Skeleton Crew", but you don't use the term "Skeleton Crew" in the body. That means you'll either need to remove it from the intro or add it to the body. CometSmudge (talk) 22:56, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarification. Corrected! @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 14:26, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

"Yeah, the Teeks we know from Battle for Endor is well taken care of." this should have a [sic] after either "Teeks" or "is", whichever is correct.- Sic added.
I think it would be good to link in the image caption Armstrong to her character.- Already there.
- Hah, I should've been clearer: by linking here I meant noting textually that Armstrong portrayed Fern. Imperators II(Talk) 06:43, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- No prob! Is the bracketed format I've just added all right? @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 10:46, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

"As revealed by co-production designer Doug Chiang, dinghies were designed as a Star-Wars–ized analogy to real-world "rowboats going from the pirate ships to the dock."[11] — this is a good piece of info, except it would be at home on the space dinghy article, here it's rather irrelevant.- Removed.
The bio is currently four paragraphs long, and it looks like it would lend itself well both visually and thematically to subsectioning - the first couple of paragraphs talk about the Skeleton Crew's first encounter with the Teek, the last two about their further interactions. This will also allow for an additional quote to be added if available, or at least for the Teek language sample one to be moved up.- Split! The quote has been added. Actually, it already used to be there at some point.
Intro: "who had become lost in the galaxy after accidentally leaving their homeworld aboard an abandoned starship" this is currently exclusive to the intro.- Removed the intro piece. It's irrelevant.
You currently end the intro with stating that the children didn't use the ferryman's services again, which is ultimately untrue per the article's body, please revise.Imperators II(Talk) 11:50, 16 April 2025 (UTC)- Intro rephrased to include all of its encounters with the crew. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 21:39, 17 April 2025 (UTC)

This article should be noted as a 1stm Imo, and noted in the BTS, since the mention of a Teek is clearly a reference to the Dinghy driverLewisr (talk) 20:36, 19 April 2025 (UTC)- Added!
The use of disabled should be changed to incapacitated or something similarLewisr (talk) 20:36, 19 April 2025 (UTC)- Incapacitated sounds fine.
501st Legion could use a bit of contextLewisr (talk) 20:36, 19 April 2025 (UTC)- Context added. @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 12:47, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
