  • For now, I've found the following:
    • Please strike this bullet or mark it as a review note so Jocasta doesn't smack me :P -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 20:25, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
  • I would say his early life should be covered in the introduction, other clone trooper status articles do so, I know we know little of his early life, but it should still be covered.
    • Per Discord, precedent is to not do this, at least for GA-sized articles. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 21:04, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
  • It would be nice to add that the Imperial forces retreated at the end of the introduction. (it also gives some context on how Thrawn left) — Samonic Thrawns Chimaera (Talk) 07:33, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Not sure the relevance to this article (but I could probably be convinced)
    • Beyond that, I'm not sure how to incorporate it. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 20:25, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
Spooky
  • Though open to hear about the context of it if there is any, the quote presented in personality and traits seems not relevant to the article. It doesn't really have anything unique about the trooper's personality—seems a non-notable exclamation that doesn't need to be included.
    • Removed. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 20:25, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
  • If the missing comlink is to be mentioned, it'd make sense to mention the rest of what he stole too in that incident - (referring to novel) "Unfortunately, his blaster, power packs, and concussion grenades had."
    • Thrawn used the comlink, but not the others if my memory serves me right. How would you incorporate mention of them? -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 19:14, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
      • Seems like the novel's chapter one details that Thrawn was knocking out perimeter troopers with the concussion grenades and causing other terror to the officers with the power packs, and as a result this trooper (and his squad) were sent to go subdue the Chiss when Barris' men failed. Though on rereading the chapter, it also seems like this specific trooper is said to be holding a blaster rifle as part of the ones sent out (which does match the comic's depiction) and could thus be in equipment.—spookywillowwtalk 19:44, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
        • I took a stab at it. Good enough? -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 00:50, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
  • I might be completely missing in my read-overs but—where exactly in Thrawn or the comic specify that the this trooper was a clone? Or that he was wearing clone trooper armor (largely, not used by 16 BBY anyways especially given it's linking to Generation One armor there) instead of stormtrooper armor? I've seen them consistently called a stormtrooper, but not much else.—spookywillowwtalk 07:20, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
    • I infer that he's a clone stormtrooper because of his clone trooper armor, yes. I believe Editoronthewiki was the first to do so. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 20:25, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
      • My main query was to question—what defines the depicted armor as not just stormtrooper armor and definitely clone trooper armor? From what I can see it visually looks exactly like stormtrooper armor (which given, is based on Phase II); and the novel text also calls the individuals searching only by stormtroopers, referring to the CW era stuff as mostly bygone relic. In canon, most of the clones had been phased out by this year given it's so late into the Imperial Era - I'm not doubting that there may be some cases of Imperial stormtroopers assumed to be clones especially in the initial period before the armor types were transferred and the clones were shifted out, but I'd like to hear more about the proof behind this trooper being a clone, specifically.—spookywillowwtalk 20:37, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
        • All of the troopers on Thrawn's exile planet have helmets that are distinctly Phase II clone trooper armor and not stormtrooper armor. See e.g. File:CaptiveThrawn.png or File:Unidentified-planet-Thrawns-exile.png for examples. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 20:54, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
        • The black spots over the eyes are separate in stormtrooper armor, but in P2CT helmets, they connect and go down. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 20:55, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
          • In that case—only referencing to Thrawn 1 for that wouldn't be enough since; neither of the article's sources defines what Phase II armor is in prose or it's characteristics to then make the assumption off that trait that this character must be a clone. The reference note in turn would then need to source an entry/data of some kind (probably from USW or something) that details the characteristics of standard clone trooper armor, and state that it's the armor depicted in the comic, which would then make the character a clone, and not a normal trooper.—spookywillowwtalk 21:02, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
            • I gave it a stab. Is this adequate? -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 19:14, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
Erebus
  • You could add an image of Thrawn in the body. Erebus Chronus (Talk) 15:13, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
    • Better? -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 16:04, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
CC-8
  • I'm trying to make sense of the date ref without having read the novel, does this character get mentioned at the start of the novel? If so, that needs to be clearer in the date ref
    • Fixed.
  • Needs another source to support the specific release date for Thrawn Commander Code-8 Hello There! 02:20, 4 July 2022 (UTC)

  • Is the planet really nameless, or do we just not know its name? If the latter, avoid calling it "nameless" or "unidentified" in the IU text. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 03:54, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
    • Per page 2 of Thrawn, it is described as a "nameless world". -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 17:34, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
  • Please check your image caption punctuation - only complete sentences should have periods. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 18:41, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
    • Done. Sorry for taking so long. At first I thought you fixed it yourself and left this as a review note. My bad —- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 17:34, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
  • Hopefully the last thing: you should briefly mention who Thrawn is in exile from. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 00:51, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Ah, great point! Fixed -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 18:26, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

  • Can the Phase II armor thing be sourced to the New Edition of Ultimate Star Wars edition instead?
  • In the Bio, you have two consecutive sentences talking about two squads "neutralizing" - could you please revise to avoid this repetition?
    • Wording changed :) -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 15:45, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
  • Just to confirm - we don't have another image of the trooper on the site to necessitate an imagecat? Imperators II(Talk) 07:17, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
    • We do not. To be pedantic, he could be one of these guys: Unidentified-planet-Thrawns-exile.png, but we have no way of knowing. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 15:45, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

  • Its hardly an objection so I will put it here. If you're going to include a picture of Thrawn, File:Two squads of stormtroopers is not enough for Thrawn.jpg or File:Thrawn-undercover.png are better fits Editoronthewiki (talk) 16:54, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Good point. Done. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) linkWP:Chiss (talk) 09:07, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
