  1. "stating that just because someone held a set of skills did not mean that they required a supervisor": can be worded less colloquially. If "someone" is going to be used, the "they" needs to be "he or she", but I recommend replacing "someone" and talking from a more general point of view, such as "possession of skills did not constitute [blah blah blah]".     • He retired from service by the year of 43 ABY, during which he was appointed by the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances to be the Jedi supervisor of former Jedi Knight Tahiri Veila. "During which" seems like it referring to "by the year of 43 BBY" ie. he was appointed before that time. Please reword for clarity.
