Having recently bought the ROTJ Radio National Dramatization book, there were some tidbits about various sounds, character movements, ect, in the script itself. Have you checked the Star Wars: The National Public Radio Dramatization for any information? If he is in the book, he's probably in the radio drama as well. - To be honest, you have not convinced me that it is not a canon quotation that does not deserves representation in the article proper. It does not contradict onscreen dialogue in anyway.
