  • "to attack the Rebels at 0200." I assume this is in military time? Is there no way to further contextualise the timeframe in relation to when the rebels seized the city? Fan26 (Talk) 15:09, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
    • Added that it was around sunrise, but there's nothing else I can add. VergenceScatter (talk) 15:58, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Spooky
  • Is it worth including either Government center (Salline) or Guildhead's Way in the |interest= template field? Seemed to be a primary Imperial objective to take that center of authority out.
  • Basing off the precedent of Imthitill seems like it may suit to have the |location= infobox field as Coastline or similar, since at least part of the city was on the coast, and it was designated as a port overall?
    • Both done. VergenceScatter (talk) 20:04, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
  • Dating things:
    • "As a result, between 2 and O BBY, Salline was occupied by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The Galactic Empire immediately responded..." This reads slightly oddly, as it's saying the Empire immeadiately responded, while just prior saying that it's been occupied for a span of two years, which would make it not so. Perhaps suitable to add some form of 'at some point between' to refer to those years?
      • The city wasn't occupied for two years, the occupation occured during that time. Hopefully clarified.
    • In doing some cursory research, I noticed that there's The Promotion of Lieutenant Veers and Star Wars: Empire at War (which noted on Veers' page as documenting his promotion to Colonel). With those details, it seems like the date for the Salline pacification could be potentially narrowed to at some point between 1 BBY and 0 BBY; as it had to be while he was colonel.
    • To that end as well; unless a contradicting source says Veers was a general at the time, the Imperial Handbook has the report as while he's a colonel, which should be reflected in the article's prose.
      • Added.
        • Seems like the article still reflects that he was a general during the pacification; and the TEA ref registers as broken.—spookywillowwtalk 20:22, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
          • Goddammit I fixed the intro but not the body. Should be good now. VergenceScatter (talk) 20:26, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
    • Battle of Yavin can be dated.
      • Done.
  • Would it be worth making an article for Chandrila's Imperial governor mentioned in the History?
    • There technically is one. However, I didn't link it as around that time Chandrila was ruled by Gerald Weizel. Since there's no reason to believe that it was him or someone else, it would be misleading to link it.
  • Given Mothma's homeworld is Chandrila and she was to some degree part of it's politics, it might have enough relevance to include the fact that she later obtained a copy of the handbook and wrote said note, so that it also wouldn't have to be linked in the quote caption.
    • Done
  • Given the article length, the intro could stand to be explanded slightly.
    • Done.
  • The detail of the Rebels fortifying the government center, if to be included, should precede the mentions of Veers going to attack it—as it had been done at least by the time he got there.
    • Done.
  • Was information on who the manual was intended to be distributed to ever noted? 'to its officers' or something, (if it has it; just to check).
    • Yes.
  • Can Salline being ruled by a governor be sourced to Strongholds of Resistance or was that reference intended to only specify what Chandrilan House was?
    • Apologies, was unclear; Salline itself does not appear to be in SoR itself, given the article only lists the handbook as a source. If SoR says all Chandrilan cities were ruled by a governor part of the Chandrilan House, then a separate ref note should state that since the handbook reveals Salline is a Chandrilan city, it must be ruled by a governor of that body due to the information about such cities in SoR—rather than just citing it to SoR without context.—spookywillowwtalk 23:48, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
      • How's that? VergenceScatter (talk) 00:28, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
    • All cities on Chandrila are ruled by a governor.
  • I'm not terribly familar with Legends precedent on it but—should 'Pacification' be capitalized in the intro/quote caption, when referring to Pacification of Salline? Given that Veer's report titling is in all caps, it doesn't seem to indicate that Pacification itself needs to be so (in prose, specifically). Could be wrong on that, but thought to check.
    • Seems like a proper name to me.
  • I think it's worth noting that Salline was located near an ocean in the description (to specify that it's that rather than a lake/river/other body of water, since those have coastlines).
    • noted
  • It says hit by missile batteries—unless mentioned elsewhere, I'm not sure batteries would be accurate to say, as it's not in Veers' report, and doesn't resemble Missile Battery or anything closely.
    • The text specifically says missile batteries. I can send you the image on Discord if you want.
  • Seems like you're missing some varying links; I nicked a few, but it might be worth going over it again.—spookywillowwtalk 06:29, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
    • Looks fine to me. VergenceScatter (talk) 20:04, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

  • I don't think Empire At War supports the 1 BBY date.
    • Hmm, working on it
      • As discussed on Discord, the old note is the best we can do. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 17:29, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
        • Restored to the earlier version VergenceScatter (talk) 20:39, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
  • I've removed the context for the book from the BTS since you've already established that in the body. I hope you're fine with that. UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 09:27, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
    • Fine with me VergenceScatter (talk) 04:56, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
