Although it's obviously a play on "pancakes." IFYLOFD (Talk) 04:55, March 5, 2015 (UTC)

We don't need to go out of our way to feign ignorance in the BTS as to what the meaning behind the panna cake pun is. The pun is obviously a play on the word pancakes. Our site policies allow us to make basic, straightforward deductions of this kind, and we've done this sort of thing on Nyork chowder, for example. I've revised the BTS wording as I think is best. You're welcome to object to my change if need be.Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 14:40, March 9, 2015 (UTC)- I thought initially it was a pun on Quarsh Panaka's name, but then someone pointed out pancakes and that seemed to make more sense. Since that gave me two possible puns I didn't want to include assumption that it was one or the other, and including both seemed like it would come across as needless speculation. I'm perfectly happy to leave the article as you've changed it since most people seem to think its the pancake pun. Ayrehead02 (talk) 14:51, March 9, 2015 (UTC)

Your intro makes it seem like the cakes originated on Panna Prime. Is that correct? If so, the history and the infobox should be updated. CadeCalrayn 15:23, March 11, 2015 (UTC)
- The sources just says that they were made on Panna Prime not that they originated there. I've reworded the intro to make this more clear. Ayrehead02 (talk) 15:54, March 11, 2015 (UTC)
