  • I think that it would be appropriate to pipelink "memory loss" to amnesia/Legends. ThrawnChiss7 Mitth symbol Assembly Cupola 19:22, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Indeed; thanks for that! Imperators II(Talk) 20:55, 15 November 2024 (UTC)

  • Just a few comments/thoughts: —DKS MaXoO (talk) 03:09, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Ottega is mentioned on page 58 of The Black Sands of Socorro (Chief areas of interests are the Omman and Socorran systems, with operations in at least 70 systems across the galaxy, from Ottega to Nar Shaddaa.). Since Nar Shaddaa is not the name of a system, I think we can assume that this mention of Ottega refers to the planet itself.
      • Yeah, I'm aware of that passage, and I read it the exact opposite way. Imo, it will be better covered on the Ottega system article.
    • The Treachery at Ottega might count as a mention of Ottega.
      • It's actually not that uncommon for system names to be used in Star Wars without mentioning the "system" bit, regardless of the preposition used, so I think it's fine as is.
    • The article mentions that Ottega was a part of Wild Space between approximately 12,000 BBY and 11,000 BBY (TEGtW). It might be worth adding that during the time of the Jedi Civil War (3959-3956 BBY), Ottega still sat in an area of space that was not widely explored by the Republic (TEA).
      • Yes, but on the other hand, the Galactic Explorations map also establishes that the Ottega system's environs were actually scouted out between 20,000 BBY and 15,000 BBY, so go figure. :) Either way, I think the system article is going to be the best place to cover this.
    • I believe that the 1990 article "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are" actually refers to the Tion Hegemony when it says "Tion sector" (HLL). The Tion (as a cluster of stars, with its trio of sectors) was not conceptualized until the 1992 adventure supplement Mission to Lianna. The name Tion Cluster (with a capital "C") came even later.
      • Now that's a very good observation, thanks! I've tweaked the linking accordingly.
        • Worth noting, though, that I've now corrected the BTS on the Tion Cluster article: it was already ID'd as the "Tion cluster" in Mission to Lianna, and Han Solo and the Lost Legacy already contains the sentence "Dellalt had, in its heyday, been a prominent member of a strategic cluster during the pre-Republic phase known locally as the Expansionist Period." I still don't disagree that the "Tion" in the Voyages SF 13 article referred to the Tion Hegemony—same as it does in Lost Legacy—though. Imperators II(Talk) 08:27, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
    • It might be worth adding in the BtS that The Truce at Bakura Sourcebook treats Ottega (point of origin of the ursmal) and Ithor as two separate systems.
      • Yeah, unfortunately, that section of the book is notoriously inconsistent about the world/system nomenclature, and, again, the system's article's BTS will have to be the one to try and untangle all this mess. Imperators II(Talk) 08:07, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
