Starters for T
  • Article isn't referenced at all.
  • I'm 100 % sure there's not all sources and appearances now, so there cannot be all the information either.
  • Has no Bts.
  • I suggest you have someone experienced to help you to prepare the nomination, that would make all more smooth. (: –Tm_T (Talk) 04:35, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
Toprawa
  • This article should comprehensively detail every single individual appearance of planetary orbit occurring in Star Wars canon, which will most likely encompass literally hundreds of different appearances and sources. That this article only has two sources listed as of nomination is evidence of how extremely far away this article is from reaching a point even remotely resembling "Good article" status. I'm going to give this nomination 24 hours to prove that the nominator can conceivably demonstrate the resources and ability to begin working on this article in accordance with GA standards before a formal removal vote is initiated. What Trak Could Find
  • As Tope pointed out, this article should cover every instance of planetary orbit, and explain it. Right now, it seems to concentrate more on the military aspect of it, and that seems rather vague, as well.
  • No references. Without cited paragraphs, for all we know, this article could be entirely OR.
  • No Bts.
  • I'm pretty sure that there are tons more sources and appearances of orbits of any kind, be they of combat nature or planetary nature.
  • The intro seems rather short.
  • As was suggested, seek out the assistance of someone experienced in writing GAs and FAs for this article. There is potential for this article to be an FA, due to the amount of information concerning planetary and ship orbits that could be added, which would expand the article considerably. Bushido
  • If and when the other objections are addressed, and all of the appearances ever printed in a SW work are added to this article, the document size will likely qualify it for the Featured Article Nomination process, and exclude it from the Good Article Nomination process.
  • I could be wrong, but Orbit seems like one of those incredibly common things that are likely to appear in every significant SW work. When considering the slew of comic books, novels, magazines, TV episodes, games, and game expansions released every week/month/season/year, this article will likely violate Rule 5: An article must…following the review process, be stable, i.e., does not change significantly from day to day and is not the subject of ongoing edit wars. This does not apply to vandalism and protection or semi-protection as a result of vandalism. With new sources and appearances coming out frequently, I don't predict this article will be able to remain stable and retain it's comprehensive status.SinisterSamurai 18:13, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
