In response to Bob, I've made the following revisions from your copyedit:

  • I tweaked the first intro sentence partly back to how it was. The original source uses the wording "crawling with life," and I was hoping to incorporate that phrasing into the article somehow, and was also trying to avoid using "teeming" again, since that was used already in the History.
  • I've also tweaked the last intro sentence to use a more active voice while trying to keep some of your changes.
