  • Instead of "The studio is best known for life simulation video games such as The Sims 4" in the intro, I would remove the mention of The Sims 4 and add instead (with appropriate links to Wikipedia) The Sims and SimCity series. While we don't have specific "OOU company" rules, I would refer to "Real-world person articles" rules following line: "The introduction section of real-world person articles may briefly summarize the highlights of a person's non-Star Wars career." There is no doubt that those series are the company highlights. Of course, reference(s) (might reused the first cited article?) will have to be added to the intro to support this claim, following the reasoning from rule 1 of WP:Sourcing: "If, of course, the information does not appear elsewhere in the article, then it is acceptable to source it in the introduction." Furthermore, this remove the need for the first phrase in the article body ("Maxis is an American video game development studio that releases life simulation games such as The Sims 4."), as it does not fit well with the section, and the second phrase should be merged with the paragraph bellow after this cut. --NanoLuukeCloning facility 05:05, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

  • The heading "Star Wars games developed by Maxis" should either be shortened, since "developed by Maxis" is redundant to the subject of the article, or be replaced by "Gameography". While the use of this word haven't yet reached status articles and will be discussed in a future CT (aimed at real-world persons), I would refers to the argumentation on my workbench (Note regarding "gameography") as to why we should use that word. --NanoLuukeCloning facility 05:05, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

  • Nearly forgot about two more issues... First, the "Bibliography" (or "Sources" when the current CT will be passed) is too thin. There are SW.com articles, EA.com articles, official youtube video and SW Insider articles are missing from the list, as revealed by The Sims 4 and The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu articles. --NanoLuukeCloning facility 05:19, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

    • All objections have been addressed, save for one thing.
    • I disagree regarding the "Bibliography" (soon to be "Sources") section. I only included articles that explicitly mention Maxis by name. The articles/links you mentioned talk about Journey to Batuu or The Sims 4 but never explicitly talk about Maxis. For that reason, I did not include them nor do I think it is relevant to do so.     • Update: Actually, I added the 2 trailers linked on the Journey to Batuu page since the Maxis logo appears at the end of each video. But as for the other sources, my above claims still stand. Dentface (talk) 20:27, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

      • Hmm, that can't all be sourced to the "About" page on their website. I think we could make things flow better by not mentioning "further entries in the SimCity series" and instead saying after the acquisition they started making The Sims games, which then ties it into the Star Wars-related section that follows.   • I tried to base how much non-Star Wars content is in the article off of the decision made in this CT forum. The CT says to state birth/death information but no other non-Star Wars info. I tried to carry that over to a company as best as possible. I included only the founding of the company and its acquisition by EA and no other information.
